WHAT TO EXPECT
After the four-week option,
students will have completed the first piano curriculum level or the
equivalent of an average full year of training and be able to:
- Navigate a full 88-key piano keyboard
- Perform selections with both hands
- Read basic music notation
- Demonstrate the ability to play by ear
- Identify key music symbols and terms
- Model effective strategies for independent practice and advanced piano training
After the eight-week option,
Students will have completed the first TWO piano curriculum levels or the
equivalent of an average of two years of training and developed the foundational skills required for
superior achievement on their first Royal Conservatory of Music piano exam.
